Incorrect content being received in push notifications

We began receiving reports at 5:08pm PST that incorrect content was displaying for some users who received push notifications.

The Tapcart engineering team identified that certain user were incorrectly targeted by a misconfiguration bug in our push notification infrastructure. Logs show that around 1%-3% of our our total user-base may have been affected by the targeting issue.

We patched the targeting misconfiguration bug on the affected server at 5:38pm PST and are still continuing to monitor the situation before closing out the issue.
